Bubby's and Banoffee

I discovered Banoffee pie when we were living in London, it's pretty much the most delicious thing ever.  It's an English dessert pie made with bananas, cream, and toffee boiled from sweetened condensed milk (dulce de leche) on a crust made with crumbled biscuits (British biscuits, like cookies) and butter.  It's fabulous.

Here in New York I love Bubby's, a restaurant in our neighborhood that is open 24 hours a day and serves up some of the best homemade comfort food on the planet.  The sour cream pancakes are a must-try!

Joyously, today on my Facebook feed these two things married.  Bubby's announced that they are making Banoffee pie!!!  Here is a picture of it...  I mean come on!  Complete with a Graham cracker crust.

Excuse me while I go eat an entire pie.
