Snow Day

One week from today we leave London.  :(  As a going away present, the city gave us a snow day!  We haven't seen snow the entire time we've been here, and it was beautiful.

We went to dinner last night to celebrate our last weekend in London (L'Etranger, awesome, French-Japanese fusion, who knew?).  It had already started snowing before we left for dinner, and all throughout our meal we just watched it snow.  When we came home this was the view out of our front window:

This morning we took Grady into the park.  He loved it once we got there and he could run around in the wide open spaces and the dry snow, but he HATED the wet slush we had to walk through on the roads.  Usually he is pulling ahead of us on walks, but today we literally had to drag him by the leash to get him to move.  He was not having any of it!

Walking into Kensington Gardens:

Grady having a great time in the snow:

Geese headed towards Round Pond in front of Kensington Palace... they fly right over your head in the park and their wings sound like kazoos they make so much noise when they fly:

I loved seeing the city under the blanket of snow.  I'm going to miss the four beautiful seasons of London!
